The harbour bus to KÖNIGSSTUHL

There are two parking spaces for severely disabled persons directly at the center, but this requires the blue EU parking permit, which must be visibly placed in the windshield. We cannot accept reservations for these spaces. If both are occupied and you have to park in the large Hagen parking lot: The shuttle bus from the parking lot is a low-floor bus that is also suitable for wheelchairs.

For nature conservation reasons, only coaches and public transport are permitted to drive through to the KÖNIGSSTUHL National Park Center. The nearest public parking lots are located in Hagen and Sassnitz. You can find more information on this in our travel tips. Excluded from this regulation are severely disabled persons who have the blue EU parking permit. For this purpose, we have two parking spaces directly next to the entrance to our premises. Please note that we cannot reserve these spaces.

Dogs are allowed on VVR buses. Please note that you must purchase a separate ticket for your dog. Furthermore, according to the VVR conditions of carriage, dogs may be transported either in a container or only with a lead and muzzle. All conditions of carriage can be found here.

You can reach us directly by bus line 23 from Sassnitz (starting stop: Sassnitz bus station) or by bus line 19 from the large Hagen parking lot (starting stop: Hagen parking lot). From the north of the island of Rügen, you can reach the national park by bus line 14, which will take you to the large Hagen parking lot, where you can change buses. The destination is always the bus stop "Königsstuhl". For your exact connection and the associated price, please take a look at vvr.verbindungssuche.de You are welcome to use the combined tickets (KÖNIGSSTUHL ticket, shuttle ticket, 3-in-1 ticket), which we offer together with VVR and the large parking lot.

Please note: If you are a holder of the Breege-Juliusruh spa card and can therefore take advantage of the bus-free offer on the Jasmund peninsula, take line 14 to the Königsstuhl junction and change there to line 23 (direction Königsstuhl). Shuttle bus 19 is excluded from the bus-free offer.

If you are a holder of the Breege-Juliusruh spa card and can therefore take advantage of the bus-free offer on the Jasmund peninsula, you can of course also travel on the harbor bus line. Just make sure that you use the bus stop Abzweig Königsstuhl to change between lines 14 and 23 for your arrival and departure. The shuttle bus 19, which stops in Hagen, is excluded from the bus-free offer, but you can of course also get on line 14 directly at the Sassnitz bus station or at the Hagen parking lot after a hike.

The large Lohme parking lot in Hagen is about three kilometers from the Königsstuhl and is subject to a charge. From there you can either take the shuttle bus line 19 directly to the Königsstuhl or use the well-developed hiking trail (approx. 3 km).

On the outskirts of Sassnitz there is a paid parking lot at the national park. From there you can also take a bus (line 23) of the VVR (bus stop "Abzweig Welterbeforum"/formerly "Abzweig Waldhalle") to the Königsstuhl. From here, the UNESCO World Heritage Forum is also only a short walk away (approx. 2.1 km).
