A three-storey journey through time, emotion and the forces of nature
Dare to step through our flint gate and enter a world where the invisible becomes visible:
- Become as small as a grasshopper.
- Meet the largest living creature in the world.
- Dive under the earth.
- Touch a real ice age glacier.
In our multimedia exhibition on three floors and in 18 impressively staged rooms, you can experience the nature of Jasmund in a completely new way.
Each room is a small world in itself. Large projections, soundscapes and interactive exhibits let you not only see nature, but really feel it.

Photographs by Jürgen Reich
The award-winning nature photographer shows the diversity and vulnerability of the habitats around the chalk coast in impressive images. His motifs tell of rare animals, bizarre rock formations and fascinating moments of light in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A homage to the chalk coast - touching, authentic and full of depth.
