Interactive world of experience – indoors and outdoors

A three-storey journey through time, emotion and the forces of nature

Dare to step through our flint gate and enter a world where the invisible becomes visible:

In our multimedia exhibition on three floors and in 18 impressively staged rooms, you can experience the nature of Jasmund in a completely new way.

Each room is a small world in itself. Large projections, soundscapes and interactive exhibits let you not only see nature, but really feel it.

We make the invisible visible

- Let yourself be touched by the power of nature and the history of this unique place.

Discovery stations in the outdoor area

Learning outside - understanding inside

Explore our extended outdoor area with 12 interactive discovery stations, a water playground and an open-air classroom surrounded by greenery. Here you can playfully explore natural phenomena and understand them with all your senses:

  • Experiment with water at the recreated chalk karst
  • Listen to old and young beech trees talking to each other
  • Test your strength in a race against the chalk cliff

Whether you are a little explorer or a big nature lover - the stations make the secrets of the national park accessible to all generations.

A close-to-nature experience that perfectly complements the indoor exhibition.

For children, families and school classes.

Special exhibition in the chalk room

Annually changing perspectives on nature

A special exhibition area awaits you on the first floor: every year, our chalk room is the setting for a new special exhibition with artistic or scientific views of nature and the Jasmund National Park.

Photographs by Jürgen Reich

The award-winning nature photographer shows the diversity and vulnerability of the habitats around the chalk coast in impressive images. His motifs tell of rare animals, bizarre rock formations and fascinating moments of light in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A homage to the chalk coast - touching, authentic and full of depth.
