Chalk" workshop
indoors or outdoors depending on the weather
What is chalk and how is it used by plants, animals and humans? What ancient fossils can be found beneath the chalk cliffs and how did they form? You can solve these and other tricky questions through puzzles and experiments. You will be allowed to take a fossil home with you - which will be searched for and found as part of this workshop. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore the adventure exhibition in the house with an audio guide and learn more about the diverse habitats in Jasmund National Park.

- Independent visit to the indoor adventure exhibition with audio guide
- Multivision cinema with the UNESCO World Heritage film "The Voice of the Forest" by and with Dirk Steffens
- View from the barrier-free Skywalk
- Individual exploration of the outdoor area with discovery stations and playground
Good to know:
- Offer suitable for all class levels, age-appropriate approach
- Number of participants per group: min. 10 max. 30 pupils
- Duration of workshop: 1.5 hours
- Duration of the entire programme: approx. 3 to 4 hours
