When the next school trip comes up, the main question is: where to go? A special kind of excursion destination awaits our young explorers in Germany's smallest national park.

Dear parents and teachers,

Are you planning a school trip? Our team offers customised events on various topics. For school classes, there are programmes adapted to the respective level of knowledge, which bring the pupils closer to the national park in an age-appropriate way.

We combine fun with education

Of course, the excursion to the Jasmund National Park can be fun for the pupils and their companions. It has to be, because we know that only an attentive and motivated person remains curious. We invest a lot to ensure that everyone goes home happy and in a good mood at the end of the school trip.

We focus on the direct experience of nature

As a visitor centre in the heart of the national park, we focus strongly on the direct experience of nature. The chalk cliff, Baltic Sea and beech forest habitats are close enough to touch. As often as possible, we therefore move our events and programmes to the original locations in the open air. 28,000 square metres of outdoor area are waiting to be conquered by you.

    Hiking day
The Baltic Sea - More than just the sea outdoor | all day

Brackish water, the nation's bathtub, a natural and economic area. And what do you associate with the Baltic Sea? Accompanied by breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea, we walk along the Hochuferweg from Sassnitz to the Königsstuhl National Park Centre. We will discover the secrets, the origins, the challenges and, above all, the life of the youngest of all seas. And what can you do to help protect the Baltic Sea? We want to find answers to these questions together. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore the adventure exhibition in the house with an audio guide and learn more about the diverse habitats in Jasmund National Park.
