When planning the next school trip, one question looms large: where to go? Germany‘s smallest National Park is the perfect destination for curious, young explorers.

Dear parents and teachers,

Are you planning a school trip? Our team offers you tailor-made events on various topics. For school classes there are programs adapted to the respective level of knowledge, which bring the students closer to the national park in an age-appropriate way.

We combine fun with education

Of course, the trip to the Jasmund National Park can be fun for the students and their companions. In fact, he has to, because we know that only an attentive and motivated person remains inquisitive. We invest a lot so that at the end of the school trip everyone goes home happy and in a good mood.

We focus on the direct nature experience

As a visitor center in the heart of the national park, we place great emphasis on experiencing nature directly. The habitats of chalk cliffs, the Baltic Sea and beech forests are within our grasp. As often as possible, we therefore relocate our events and offers to the original open-air locations. 28,000 square meters of outdoor space are waiting to be conquered by you.

    Project day
    Plastic in the sea

The pollution of the oceans is no longer a small problem ...

.. not only the great oceans of the world and their inhabitants have to struggle more and more with the burden of waste, but also our small local Baltic Sea is now heavily polluted. This is where we humans are called upon: not only as polluters, but also as the largest consumers, we have a responsibility to help the marine habitat. That is why we want to deal with this problem on our walk from Sassnitz to the National Park Centre KÖNIGSSTUHL, along Jasmund's chalk coast, and consider what each of us can contribute to a clean Baltic Sea.

Duration: approx. 6 to 6.5 hours
    Participants: min. 10 persons/ max. 30 persons
Offer: our recommendation for classes 5 to 12
    Language: German
Registration: binding, arrangement of project day desired
Booking: binding, dates from April to October

    Additional info:

    Level of difficulty:
The area of the National Park was formed by glaciers during the last Ice Age. The chalk and older ice-age strata in the subsoil were uplifted to form a ridge, resulting in a strongly structured relief. Accordingly, there are always a few metres of altitude to overcome on the hike.

    Route length:
    approx. 8 kilometres

    Price: 15,00 € p.p.

Including admission to the visitor centre, optional bistro package at the KÖNIGSSTUHL National Park Centre and/or the UNESCO World Heritage Forum can be added.
